Idaho Governor's Cup Impact

The Idaho Governor’s Cup... where Idaho students win. For over 50 years, the Idaho Governor’s Cup Scholarship Fund has provided scholarships for high school seniors to continue their education at Idaho’s four year universities & career technical programs. All proceeds from the Idaho Governor’s Cup event are dedicated to funding this program.

The Event

The Idaho Governor’s Cup was established in 1974 by then-Governor Cecil Andrus. What began as a small golf tournament has grown into an annual event with approximately 600 participants and featuring golf, shotgun sports, fly fishing, and a number of social activities.

The Scholarship

By participating in or sponsoring the Idaho Governor's Cup, you provide more opportunities for Idaho students to further their education in our great state. That means you'll be a part of keeping our best and brightest here in Idaho to pursue their degrees and start their careers.

The Idaho Governor's Cup Scholarship is available to high school seniors and home schools students throughout Idaho. All proceeds from the Idaho Governor's Cup are dedicated to funding this program.
